I am really struggling on keeping current around here. Winter came in a rush after waiting forever for it to show up. It came in a hurry and dumped lots of snow through out February. We snowshoed every possibly weekend, got our fill of snow and cold, and now we have moved very quickly into spring weather. Windy, beautiful days, rain here and there, and a few chilly nights. This snowshoe trip was Feb. 8th. After checking the weather reports I was a little bit apprehensive about going, conditions were a little bit on the cold side for my taste....3 degrees with some wind. My snowshoe buddies didn't want to miss an opportunity to be out in the snow so we headed out with plenty of layers and face guards.
