Twisp Pass Trail, Twisp Washington

A very wet day in the woods. Back in June when life was what we considered normal and we had family coming and going, my sister and nephew ventured out for a hike. I believe this was one of the rare times that I actually took a day off to enjoy the outdoors, but it's been so long ago I might be mistaken. 30 Percent chance of rain isn't normally a problem but this particulate day it was a very wet problem. Nice drive up the Methow, and a long drive down the Twisp River Road to the trail head. Rain, rain and more rain, pretty sure us adults would have been just fine taking a raining day drive but the young one wanted to get out and hike. So up the trail we went. It wasn't too long and I had water running down my legs into my boots, that I specially wore due to the fact they were water proof. Water proof boots don't do a whole lot of good if you have so much water running down your legs that it is filling your boots up. So it was a very squishy hike, a little on
