Snowshoe Trail, Beaver Loop just outside of Mazama Washington heading up the North Cascade Highway. This trail is to the left of the parking area, where they post the signs that the road ends and the bottom gate is locked on Hwy 20. Very relaxing, easy trail. Depending on how deep the snow is you can still see some of the signs posted on the trees to identify them. These pictures are from December 2014, the snow wasn't really deep. Early Winters Creek is beautiful, you get several large openings with a view to get up close to it. Love the color of it and the ever changing ice formations on it. This is a simply snowshoe trail that burns just enough calories to justify stopping for a pastry at either the Mazama store or the Rocking Horse in Winthrop.
