Saturday afternoon was a fine day to be up the Methow Valley...Blue skys and nice temperature.....sure would be nice to get a little bit more snow....I would love to stretch the snowshoeing season out a little longer in the Methow Valley....The warm days are peeling the snow off the hills and mountains fast....We ventured back to Sun Mountain Lodge, Winthrop....Not having a lot of time to find another place...Plus I wanted to take my nephew on the trails there since he missed out our last trip....Lots of folks out snowshoeing....the weather was so pleasant it made for an enjoyable day.....Played around with my camera...trying to capture the sun rays....the view of the mountains was nice and clear....the trails are starting to get a little bit crunchy...but still worth making the loop around and seeing the views.....Patterson Lake was a busy place....folks out ice fishing...lots of activity....Took our time.....Played in the snow as we made the loop.....Nothing to strenuous....Just an enjoyable day out in the snow in the Methow Valley....
