This was our last snowshoeing trip for January 2015, by this time snow was getting pretty crunchy down low and not a lot of new snow fall. My niece was visiting from Oregon and we wanted to sneak away for a little bit of fun up the Methow. It was enjoyable, beautiful day. It's always fun to stop in at the Mazama store and look at all the cool things they have in there. That's always a great spot to grab a delish sandwich on fresh homemade bread, super yummy. They always have very tempting baked goodies likewise. We stopped like tourist and took pictures of the deer eating some hay left out for them, the fires in the Methow area did a wonderful job of destroying most of the deer winter food. These guys were curious and super fuzzy.
